Dental AI Subject Matter Expert (Remote Contractor)

About the role

This remote, hourly contractor position involves working as a Dental Subject Matter Expert to review and create AI‑generated dental content. You will evaluate the clinical reasoning, safety, and accuracy of AI responses and provide detailed written feedback to improve AI models used in oral‑health applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by creating detailed prompts and gold‑standard answers across diagnosis, treatment planning, emergencies, prescribing, and patient counseling.
• Optimize AI performance by evaluating, ranking, and providing feedback on AI responses to enhance correctness, safety, clarity, and contextual relevance.
• Ensure model integrity by testing AI outputs for inaccuracies, unsafe recommendations, bias, and validating reliability across diverse patient populations.

Required profile

• DDS/DMD (or equivalent) with active dental licensure (or eligibility).
• Minimum 5 years of clinical dentistry experience in general practice, hospital, community, or specialty settings.
• Strong clinical reasoning skills, including differential diagnosis, red‑flag recognition, and treatment planning.
• Deep knowledge of oral disease processes, dental materials, and procedural fundamentals.
• Exceptional attention to detail for fact‑checking clinical content and identifying safety issues.
• Proficiency in English at C1 level or higher.
