Biomedical Engineer – AI Model Evaluation

About the role

We are seeking a biomedical engineer who thrives on technical precision and applied problem‑solving to help shape the next generation of AI systems. In this role you will directly evaluate, challenge, and refine advanced language models on domain‑specific biomedical engineering topics, ensuring AI outputs are accurate, safe, and aligned with professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assess AI‑generated responses for technical accuracy, logical soundness, completeness, and clarity across a wide range of biomedical engineering subjects.
• Challenge language models with realistic design, calculation, and analysis scenarios, including unit handling and constraint interpretation.
• Provide structured feedback identifying factual errors, unsafe recommendations, unsupported clinical claims, missing assumptions, and invalid simplifications.
• Help define communication standards for biomedical content, emphasizing patient safety, regulatory considerations, and when to involve clinical experts.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional biomedical engineering experience in areas such as medical devices, biomechanics, biomaterials, bioinstrumentation, imaging, or related specialties.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field (Master’s/PhD preferred).
• Strong comfort with technical assumptions, unit consistency, and defensible reasoning, including safety and uncertainty considerations.
• Experience with AI data training, annotation, or evaluation is a strong plus.
