International Immunization Consultant – 6 months

About the role

UNICEF is seeking an International Immunization Consultant to support Timor‑Leste’s immunization programme for a six‑month fixed‑term assignment. The consultant will work from the UNICEF office in Dili, collaborating closely with the Ministry of Health and GAVI partners.

Key responsibilities

• Review GAVI 6.0 guidelines and align them with the National Immunization Strategic (NIS) 2026‑2030 plan and EVM assessment recommendations.
• Coordinate with the Immunization Department and the Director General of Partnership to clarify the Ministry of Health’s financial allocation for 2026‑2030.
• Analyse critical funding gaps and develop recommendations to leverage existing resources for scaling up immunization activities.
• Review TCA and Health System Strengthening (HSS) investments since January 2026 to identify unfunded activities recommended in the NIS.
• Provide technical support to the Ministry of Health in preparing a consolidated GAVI 6.0 cash grant proposal.
