Consultant – End‑of‑Project Evaluation for Reproductive Health & Nutrition Project

About the role

The Consultant will lead the end‑of‑project evaluation for ChildFund Timor‑Leste’s Integrated Reproductive Health and Nutrition Intervention in the Lautem and Manatuto municipalities. This short‑term assignment aims to assess the project’s outcomes, identify lessons learned, and provide actionable recommendations for future programming.

Key responsibilities

• Review project documentation, monitoring data, and baseline assessments.
• Design and implement a mixed‑methods evaluation framework aligned with the three project outcomes.
• Collect quantitative and qualitative data from health facilities, community health promoters, and beneficiary households.
• Analyse findings against project targets on maternal health, child nutrition, and adolescent sexual and reproductive health.
• Prepare a comprehensive evaluation report, including evidence‑based recommendations.
• Present results to project stakeholders and support knowledge‑sharing workshops.

Required profile

• University degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Proven experience conducting monitoring and evaluation for health or nutrition programmes, preferably in low‑resource settings.
• Familiarity with reproductive health, maternal and child nutrition, and adolescent health issues.
• Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel to project sites in Lautem and Manatuto.
