Remote Nurse Practitioner – AI Clinical Content SME

About the role

In this hourly, remote contractor position you will act as a Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner Subject Matter Expert, reviewing AI‑generated clinical responses and creating expert healthcare content. You will evaluate reasoning quality, safety and accuracy, and provide precise written feedback to improve AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by creating detailed prompts and gold‑standard answers aligned to your specialty.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses to enhance correctness, safety, clarity and contextual relevance.
• Test AI outputs for inaccuracies, unsafe recommendations and bias, ensuring reliability across patient populations and scenarios.

Required profile

• NP / APRN (or equivalent) with active licensure/registration (or eligibility) in at least one jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of nursing experience overall, including 2+ years in an advanced practice or specialist role (preferred).
• Strong advanced clinical reasoning, differential diagnosis, triage, red‑flag recognition and escalation within scope.
• Medication safety judgment covering contraindications, interactions, organ‑function considerations and monitoring plans.
• Exceptional attention to detail when fact‑checking and identifying unsafe assumptions or missing contraindications.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency and ability to evaluate internal consistency of clinical answers.
• Reliable, self‑directed and able to deliver consistent quality in an hourly, remote workflow across time zones.
• Prior experience with AI data training, utilization review, clinical documentation review or healthcare editorial QA is strongly preferred.
