Remote Animator (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a talented and detail‑oriented Animator to create engaging 2D and 3D animations for characters, environments and visual effects. Working remotely on a contract basis, you will collaborate closely with directors, artists and the production team to turn scripts and storyboards into high‑quality visual content that meets artistic standards and deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 2D or 3D animations for characters, environments and visual effects.
• Participate in brainstorming, script development, storyboarding and animatics creation.
• Animate believable body movements, facial expressions and lip‑sync.
• Apply textures, lighting, shading and special effects to enhance scenes.
• Adjust animations based on feedback from designers, writers and sound producers.
• Stay current with the latest animation techniques, software and industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or professional diploma in Animation, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Motion Graphics or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of professional animation experience.
• Strong portfolio or demo reel demonstrating a range of styles and high‑quality character work.
• Excellent storytelling ability, attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively.
• Reliable backup power supply, stable internet connection and a functional laptop.

• Proficiency with Blender.
• Proficiency with Adobe After Effects.
• Proficiency with Toon Boom.
