Traffic Engineer – Site Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Traffic Engineer – Site Supervisor to join our highway road construction project in Timor‑Leste. The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate traffic engineering and traffic management activities throughout the construction phase.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate traffic engineering and traffic management activities during construction, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and traffic management plans.
• Implement traffic control measures, temporary traffic arrangements, and road safety systems safely and efficiently.
• Manage traffic flow and safety to minimise disruption to existing traffic, adhering to the DB Contract, technical specifications, and detailed design.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a specialization in traffic engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of cumulative civil engineering experience, including highway road construction supervision.
• At least 10 years of experience in traffic management for highway or large road projects.
• Experience on at least two similar highway road projects in a supervisory capacity.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
