Electrical Engineer – Site Supervisor

About the role

SMEC is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer – Site Supervisor for a highway road construction project in Timor‑Leste. The role involves overseeing all electrical works on‑site, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all electrical works on the construction site.
• Ensure activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with approved drawings, technical specifications, and project schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (pavement engineering, materials science or equivalent).
• Minimum 15 years of cumulative civil engineering experience, including at least 10 years supervising highway road pavement construction.

Required skills

• Supervision of electrical site works.
• Pavement material selection and quality control.
