Deputy Team Leader – Resident Engineer – Site Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Deputy Team Leader – Resident Engineer / Site Supervisor to support the delivery and supervision of a major highway infrastructure project in Timor‑Leste. The successful candidate will assist the Team Leader in managing construction supervision activities and ensure works are executed according to approved designs, technical specifications, contract requirements, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Team Leader in managing construction supervision activities and ensure compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, contract requirements, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.
• Supervise progress of works to ensure adherence to the DBF Contract, technical specifications, and approved detailed design.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with specialization in Highway Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 20 years of cumulative civil engineering experience, including at least 10 years in highway road construction supervision.
• Experience as Deputy Team Leader or similar on at least two highway or large road projects with construction costs of USD 200 million or more.
• At least 3 years of international experience working in developing countries.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Ability to work as either male or female (gender neutral).
