Vice President of Engineering

About the role

Frontline is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead its fully distributed engineering organization. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will shape technology strategy, own product delivery, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our SaaS platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end design, development, and delivery of web and mobile applications.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a distributed team of engineers, DevOps, QA, design, and product professionals.
• Drive continuous improvement through code reviews, retrospectives, and performance management.
• Partner with the CTO on hiring strategy, onboarding, and talent development.
• Define technical direction, influence the product roadmap, and align engineering goals with business objectives.

Required profile

• B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing and scaling software engineering teams.

• ASP.NET.NET Core
• JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, REST APIs
• Microsoft Azure services (App Services, Azure AD, cloud hosting)
• Windows server environment, IIS
• SQL Server and cloud‑based database solutions
• Security practices (access control, patching, SSL)
• Single Sign‑On (SSO) and authentication frameworks
