Project Coordinator – LDSC

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Project Coordinator for its LDSC programme in Timor‑Leste. The role will support the implementation of WASH‑in‑Schools projects across several municipalities, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and organisational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate overall project implementation, develop schedules and monitor progress against milestones.
• Manage project budgets, expenditures and procurement plans, ensuring compliance with financial procedures.
• Conduct field visits, inspect WASH infrastructure, verify quality and oversee contractor performance.
• Collect and analyse project data, prepare regular monitoring, evaluation and donor reports.
• Maintain relationships with municipalities, schools, government authorities and partners, representing the project in meetings and workshops.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in WASH‑in‑Schools, infrastructure or community development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Health, Public Health, Water Resources Management, Community Development, Project Management or a related field.
• Experience in budget management, procurement and field monitoring.
• Fluency in Tetum and English and willingness to travel regularly to Oecusse, Ermera, Baucau and Bobonaro.
