Mandarin-Speaking Civil Engineer (Precast / Prefab) – Commercial & Warehouse Projects

About the role

ETT Discovery Developments is expanding its prefabricated and precast construction capabilities across Timor‑Leste. We are seeking a hands‑on civil engineer with strong site experience in commercial and warehouse projects to lead execution of precast concrete and prefabricated steel structures.

Key responsibilities

• Lead site execution for commercial and warehouse projects using precast concrete and prefabricated steel structures.
• Supervise precast installation, erection, grouting, and connection details.
• Manage subcontractors, precast yard operations, and shop drawing coordination.
• Coordinate with the design team on shop drawings and method statements while ensuring safety, schedule, and quality.

Required profile

• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 10+ years of hands‑on site experience in commercial/warehouse/industrial buildings.
• Proven experience with precast concrete and prefabricated systems (hollow core, precast beams/columns, sandwich panels).

Required skills

• Precast concrete system expertise.
• Prefabricated steel structure knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
• Basic precast connection design checks.
