Deputy Team Leader – Resident Engineer – Site Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Team Leader – Resident Engineer / Site Supervisor to support the delivery and supervision of a major highway infrastructure project in Timor‑Leste. The role assists the Team Leader in managing construction supervision activities, ensuring works comply with designs, specifications, contract requirements, quality standards and health & safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise progress and compliance of the works with the DBF Contract, technical specifications and the approved detailed design.
• Assist the Team Leader in managing construction supervision activities and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and asset operators.
• Ensure that quality standards and health & safety regulations are consistently met on site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with expertise in highway engineering.
• Minimum 20 years of cumulative civil engineering experience, including at least 10 years in highway road construction supervision.
• Experience on at least two highway road projects with construction costs of USD 200 million or more.
• At least 3 years of international experience in developing countries and fluent English communication.
