Legal Expert – AI Data Annotation Contractor

About the role

This hourly, remote contractor position involves reviewing AI‑generated legal analyses and creating expert legal content. You will evaluate reasoning quality, spot issues step‑by‑step, and provide precise written feedback on accuracy, clarity, and adherence to prompts. Your work will directly improve the legal reasoning of leading AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content: craft detailed prompts and model responses that guide AI learning across a wide range of legal topics.
• Optimize AI performance: evaluate, rank, and compare AI answers to enhance accuracy, fluency, and contextual relevance.
• Ensure model integrity: test AI outputs for inaccuracies or biases, validate reliability, and flag potential issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Law, Legal Studies, Public Policy, or Political Science with strong grounding in constitutional, contract, tort, criminal, civil procedure, and regulatory law.
• 5+ years of professional experience in law, legal research, or related policy fields, demonstrating excellent legal reasoning and issue‑spotting skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail when checking rule statements, citations, jurisdictional relevance, and logical consistency; fluent English (minimum C1).
