Contract Review Expert – Remote Contractor

About the role

We are seeking a Contract Review Subject Matter Expert to work remotely on an hourly contractor basis. You will evaluate AI‑generated contract analyses, create gold‑standard contract content, and provide precise written feedback to improve model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content: craft detailed prompts and produce gold‑standard outputs such as issue lists, redlines, negotiation notes, clause rewrites, and playbook guidance.
• Optimize AI performance: evaluate, rank, and compare AI responses to enhance correctness, defensibility, clarity, and practical negotiation usefulness.
• Ensure model integrity: test AI outputs for inaccuracies, misleading certainty, confidentiality risks, and bias; validate reliability across diverse contract scenarios.

Required profile

• JD/LLB (or equivalent) or Paralegal background with at least 5 years of professional contract review experience in in‑house, law‑firm, procurement, or legal‑ops settings.
• Strong ability to identify and explain contract risks such as liability caps, indemnities, warranties, termination rights, IP ownership, and privacy/security clauses.
• Excellent attention to detail, C1‑level English proficiency, and ability to produce clear guidance for non‑legal audiences.

Required skills

• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools and version‑control systems.
• Experience with AI data training/annotation, legal QA, or template‑library maintenance.
