Center Manager

About the role

Join the dynamic team of Dili Development Company Lda in Dili, Timor‑Leste, as a Center Manager. You will lead the overall management of Timor Plaza, overseeing tenant relations, facility operations, marketing initiatives and the visitor experience to drive the centre’s success.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of Timor Plaza, including facilities, security and maintenance.
• Develop and maintain strong tenant relationships, negotiate leases and support tenant mix optimisation.
• Plan and execute marketing and promotional activities to increase foot traffic and sales.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, financial reports and operational plans.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards.
• Lead and develop a diverse team, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Willingness to relocate to Dili, Timor‑Leste.
• Minimum 5 years experience in shopping centre or retail property management.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business Management, Property Management, Real Estate or a related field.
• Proven leadership experience managing diverse teams.
• Successful track record in tenant relationship management and leasing strategies.
• Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation.
• Fluent English; Bahasa Indonesia/Malay or Mandarin is a plus.
