Advertising Subject Matter Expert (Remote Contractor)

About the role

In this hourly, remote contractor role, you will work as an Advertising Subject Matter Expert (SME) to review AI‑generated advertising outputs and create expert ad copy and campaign assets, evaluating reasoning quality, strategy alignment, and step‑by‑step creative decision‑making while providing precise written feedback. Although there is no immediate project, qualified experts will be contacted for future opportunities and gain access to additional projects through our expert network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by creating detailed prompts and gold‑standard advertising outputs such as ad copy sets, creative briefs, test plans, and performance analyses.
• Optimize AI performance by evaluating and ranking AI responses to improve strategic fit, persuasion, clarity, and practical applicability.
• Ensure model integrity by testing AI outputs for inaccuracies, misleading claims, policy violations, and bias, and validating reliability across channels and audiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in advertising or performance marketing with hands‑on campaign ownership.
• Strong command of ad fundamentals including positioning, offer strategy, messaging frameworks, hooks, CTAs, and creative iteration.
• Experience across major channels such as Meta, Google Ads/YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, programmatic, and connected TV.
