Field Coordinator

About the role

The UNV Field Coordinator will work on UN premises in Dili, supporting the Project Coordinator in technical leadership, monitoring, and administrative functions for a six‑month assignment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership by strengthening coordination mechanisms within municipal structures, collaborating with local government, conducting continuous environmental policy scanning, and developing training, BCC/IEC, advocacy and policy documents.
• Monitor and evaluate programme progress by collecting district reports, supporting financial performance tracking, conducting field visits, and preparing regular status and progress reports.
• Perform administrative duties such as maintaining budget awareness, managing assets, ensuring travel compliance, writing work plans and reports, assisting in proposal writing, and coordinating meetings, workshops and events.

Required profile

• Minimum six years of relevant experience in administration, finance or office management.
• Secondary education required.
• Fluent English and working knowledge of Indonesian; working knowledge of Tetum is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software applications.
• Experience with web‑based management systems.
• Experience with ERP financial systems.
