Senior Java Engineer – AI Code Review (Remote, Hourly)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to work remotely on an hourly basis, reviewing AI‑generated Java code, architectural solutions, and technical explanations. You will create high‑quality reference implementations, assess accuracy and clarity, and rank multiple AI responses based on correctness and reasoning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by crafting detailed prompts and responses that guide AI learning across diverse topics.
• Optimize AI performance by evaluating and ranking AI outputs to improve accuracy, fluency, and contextual relevance.
• Ensure model integrity by testing AI models for inaccuracies or biases and validating reliability across use cases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with extensive hands‑on Java work on production systems.
• Deep knowledge of core Java, concurrency primitives, and the Java Collections Framework.
• Proven experience building backend services with Spring or Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservice architectures.
• Strong grasp of software design principles, system design, and performance optimization in distributed Java environments.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency, both written and spoken, with the ability to produce clear technical explanations.
• Comfort with modern engineering tooling such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and containerization technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Experience with AI data training, annotation, or evaluating AI‑generated technical content is a strong plus.
