Planning Specialist – Highway Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Planning Specialist to support a major highway infrastructure project in Timor‑Leste. The role involves developing, monitoring and controlling the project schedule, ensuring milestones are met, and assisting the project management team with progress reporting and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and control the detailed project schedule using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Monitor progress against the schedule, identify potential delays and propose corrective actions.
• Support the project team with planning updates, progress reports and risk mitigation activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Planning Management (post‑graduate qualification preferred).
• Minimum 15 years experience in schedule management for large road construction projects.
• Proven experience on at least two highway or road projects of similar scale.
• International experience of at least two years in developing countries.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
