Mobile App Developer – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a creative and driven Mobile App Developer to design, build, and maintain the next generation of our mobile applications. This remote contract position will have you own the full application lifecycle, from ideation through deployment, working closely with UI/UX designers and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality iOS and Android applications using native or cross‑platform frameworks.
• Integrate mobile apps with backend services, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third‑party libraries such as Firebase.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to turn wireframes into intuitive, responsive interfaces.
• Write clean, scalable code; debug, troubleshoot, and optimise performance, speed, and battery usage.
• Create and run automated unit and UI tests to ensure reliability before release.
• Manage app store submissions, ensuring compliance with Apple App Store and Google Play guidelines.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 3‑5 years of professional experience building, deploying, and maintaining mobile applications.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional team.
• Reliable power supply, internet connection, and a functional laptop.

Required skills

• Flutter or React Native (cross‑platform) or native development with Swift, Objective‑C, Kotlin, Java.
• RESTful API, GraphQL, and Firebase integration.
• Version control with Git/GitHub.
• CI/CD pipeline experience.
