Indonesian QA Lead – Remote

About the role

This remote, hourly contract position is for an Indonesian Quality Assurance Lead who will oversee the quality, consistency, and trainer performance of Indonesian AI training projects. You will ensure that AI‑generated Indonesian content meets strict linguistic and cultural standards while supporting a fast‑growing AI data services company.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated Indonesian content and trainer/QA work against detailed project rubrics.
• Provide precise written feedback in English to improve accuracy, fluency, grammar, tone, and cultural appropriateness.
• Identify recurring quality issues and communicate updates to trainers and QA teams.
• Support onboarding of new contributors and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.
• Activate and monitor contributors who are not working consistently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Indonesian, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, English, Education, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Native or near‑native proficiency in Indonesian with strong reading and writing skills.
• Strong command of English for following guidelines and providing feedback.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Indonesian writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, education, annotation, or similar workflows.
• Deep understanding of Indonesian grammar, spelling, punctuation, tone, register, and cultural context.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs.
