Hydrology & Drainage Engineer – Site Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified Hydrology & Drainage Engineer – Site Supervisor to join the Construction Supervision Consultant team for a major highway road project in Timor‑Leste. The role involves supervising the construction of drainage and hydraulic infrastructure and ensuring all works comply with approved designs, technical specifications, environmental requirements and international quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the construction of drainage and hydraulic infrastructure, guaranteeing compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, environmental requirements and international quality standards.
• Oversee the implementation of drainage systems, manage storm‑water, and ensure hydrological elements function effectively to prevent flooding, erosion and other water‑related issues in accordance with the DB contract and detailed design.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology or an equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of cumulative civil‑engineering experience, including at least 10 years in large‑scale drainage construction for highway or major road projects.
• Proven experience on at least two similar highway road projects and fluency in written and spoken English.
