Hydrology & Drainage Engineer – Design Reviewer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Hydrology & Drainage Engineer – Design Reviewer to join a major highway infrastructure project in Timor‑Leste. The role involves reviewing hydrological studies, drainage systems, flood‑management measures and related designs prepared by the Design‑Build Contractor.

Key responsibilities

• Review hydrological studies, hydraulic analyses and existing drainage conditions.
• Assess drainage system designs and flood‑management measures for compliance with the DBF contract.
• Provide technical feedback to the Design‑Build Contractor to ensure robust and sustainable highway drainage solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a focus on hydrology and drainage.
• Minimum 15 years of civil engineering experience, including at least 10 years in final design of highway drainage systems.
• Experience on at least two similar highway road projects.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
