Team Leader – Road Infrastructure Project

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Team Leader to head a multidisciplinary consulting team on a major road infrastructure project in Timor‑Leste. The role provides overall technical, managerial and contractual leadership throughout project implementation, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with client, donor and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary consulting team for the DBF contract.
• Provide technical, managerial and contractual oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure timely delivery of project objectives while meeting client, donor and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate and supervise design and construction activities for highway road projects.
• Guide the team in developing solutions within project constraints.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a focus on highway roads or equivalent.
• Minimum 20 years of civil engineering experience, including at least 10 years in highway road design and construction.
• Experience on at least two highway road projects of US$300 million+ each.
• At least five years as a full‑time employee of the PMC (preferred).
• International experience with a minimum of three years working in developing countries and fluency in written and spoken English.
