Structural Engineer – Design Reviewer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer – Design Reviewer to support a major highway infrastructure project in Timor‑Leste. The successful candidate will review structural designs prepared by the Design‑Build Contractor and ensure they meet project requirements, international standards, applicable codes, and contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Review structural designs prepared by the Design‑Build Contractor.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, international standards, applicable codes, and contractual obligations.
• Verify that designs for bridges, underpasses, and overpasses meet DBF contract specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent with structural engineering expertise.
• Minimum 15 years of civil engineering experience, including at least 10 years in final design of highway road structures such as bridges, underpasses, and overpasses.
• Experience on at least two similar highway road design projects.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Preferably employed full‑time by the PMC for at least two years.
