Remote R Engineer – AI Data Services

About the role

As a remote, hourly‑paid R Engineer you will review AI‑generated responses and create high‑quality R‑focused content. You will evaluate the reasoning, accuracy and statistical methodology of each solution, fact‑check results, write expert explanations and rank multiple AI outputs based on correctness and reasoning quality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by designing detailed prompts and model responses that cover a wide range of topics.
• Optimize AI performance by evaluating, ranking and providing feedback on AI‑generated answers to improve accuracy, fluency and relevance.
• Ensure model integrity by testing for biases or inaccuracies and validating reliability across use cases.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience using R for data analysis, statistics or data‑science work.
• Strong proficiency in R programming, including data‑wrangling, functional programming and reusable package development.
• Solid grounding in applied statistics such as regression, inference and model validation, with practical implementation in R.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• Excellent English writing skills (C1 level) and ability to explain complex statistical ideas to non‑experts.
