Engineering Manager, Software Engineering

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a high‑performing team of 8‑12 software engineers. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will shape technical direction, drive Agile delivery, and create an environment where engineers can thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Coach, mentor, and develop engineers through regular 1:1s and career‑growth initiatives.
• Lead Agile ceremonies, improve sprint predictability, and remove impediments.
• Manage cross‑team dependencies, blockers, and capacity planning.
• Oversee sprint planning, estimation, prioritization, and delivery alignment with business goals.
• Participate in code and architecture discussions, champion best practices, and uphold quality, security, and reliability standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years as a senior or principal engineer.
• 3+ years of experience managing or leading remote technical teams.
• Proven track record of building inclusive, high‑performing engineering cultures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to align cross‑functional stakeholders.
