Contract Specialist – Road Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Contract Specialist to support the delivery of a major road and highway infrastructure project in Timor‑Leste. The role involves contract administration, procurement support, claims management, compliance monitoring and ensuring that all contractual obligations are fulfilled throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Administer contracts and monitor compliance with contractual terms.
• Provide procurement support and manage procurement processes.
• Handle claims management and resolve contractual disputes.
• Monitor project compliance and report on contractual performance.
• Ensure all contractual obligations are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in project/contract management of large road construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree (post‑graduate qualification in contract management preferred).
• Experience with FIDIC contract administration and execution of DBF contracts.
• Participation in at least two highway projects each with a construction cost of USD 200 million or more.
• International experience of at least two years in developing countries and fluent written and spoken English.
