Consultant – Climate Services Financing Framework

About the role

The consultancy supports the development of a Climate Services Financing Framework and Business Model at national level. Working closely with the International Consultant, UNEP Project Management Unit, the National Executing Entity and other partners, the consultant will provide inputs and coordination to produce the final framework.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, collect, review and summarise relevant documentation to support the International Consultant’s inception report.
• Organise and document stakeholder consultations to explore opportunities for sectors and business segments to use climate services.
• Plan, co‑facilitate and document an in‑country workshop on the draft Financing Framework and Business Model.
• Facilitate the final review and validation of the Financing Framework and Business Model by the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC) and other relevant stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in climate services, financing frameworks or related environmental projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively with international consultants, UN agencies, national entities and development partners.
• Strong organisational skills for coordinating consultations, workshops and documentation processes.
