Senior Accountant – US GAAP Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant with deep expertise in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The role involves managing financial accounting, preparing accurate statements, and supporting both internal and external audits while providing strategic financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Produce error‑free accounting reports and present findings.
• Analyze financial information, summarize status, and suggest efficiency improvements.
• Provide technical support and advice on management accounting.
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
• Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers.
• Participate in financial standards setting, forecasting, and budget preparation.
• Assist with tax audits, tax returns, and ensure compliance during internal and external audits.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes and develop internal controls.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience as an accountant, financial controller, or accounting supervisor.
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and US GAAP.
• BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Strong quantitative aptitude, accuracy and attention to detail.
