Indonesian Language Specialist – AI Trainer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an Indonesian language expert to help shape the next generation of AI models. As a remote freelance AI trainer, you will evaluate and improve language understanding by interacting with advanced models on a variety of linguistic tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with AI models on Indonesian grammar, syntax, morphology, phonology, semantics, and pragmatics.
• Document model failures on sentence structure, verb conjugation, dialects, idioms, and formal vs. informal speech.
• Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness of model outputs.
• Capture reproducible error traces and suggest enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
• Provide clear, metacognitive explanations of your analysis.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Indonesian language, linguistics, or a closely related field.
• Evidence of scholarly work such as peer‑reviewed publications, teaching experience, or linguistic analysis projects.
• Strong ability to communicate reasoning and “show your work”.
