Dentist AI Subject Matter Expert (Remote Contractor)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced dentist to join our expert network as a remote contractor. In this position you will act as a Dental Subject Matter Expert (SME) to evaluate, improve, and create AI‑generated dental content, ensuring clinical accuracy, safety, and clarity.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated responses on oral health, diagnosis, treatment planning, emergencies, prescribing, and patient counseling.
• Provide detailed written feedback, fact‑check clinical information, and flag unsafe or biased recommendations.
• Create high‑quality prompts and gold‑standard answers that model correct clinical reasoning.
• Rate and compare multiple AI outputs based on correctness, reasoning quality, and patient‑safety considerations.
• Help refine AI models by testing outputs across diverse patient scenarios and identifying gaps.

Required profile

• DDS/DMD (or equivalent) with an active dental license or eligibility.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical dentistry experience (general practice, hospital, community, or specialty).
• Strong clinical reasoning skills, including differential diagnosis, red‑flag recognition, and treatment prioritization.
• Excellent attention to detail for fact‑checking and safety assessment.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency.
