PHP Developer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to design, build, and maintain server‑side components of our web applications. The role focuses on delivering high‑performance back‑end logic, managing databases, and ensuring seamless integration with front‑end features.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust PHP‑based web applications.
• Design and optimise MySQL database schemas and queries.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and payment gateways.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers to integrate UI components.
• Write clean, reusable, and well‑documented PHP code following MVC patterns.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve performance and security issues.
• Maintain documentation for all development work.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of PHP and popular frameworks such as Laravel or Yii.
• Understanding of synchronous PHP execution and MVC architecture.
• Experience with object‑oriented PHP programming.
• Familiarity with front‑end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3).
• Knowledge of web security best practices and common server exploits.
• Ability to design scalable applications and integrate multiple data sources.
